Ingrid Cheng Eng Yi, born in Malaysia in 1997, is a New Media Art graduate from National Taipei University of the Arts (2017). Specializing in sound installations and video body behavior, Yi explores the interplay between sound and space, as well as individual and environment dynamics. His sound installations utilize ready-made objects to expand the possibilities of sound. In behavioral images, he draws from personal experiences and daily observations, highlighting societal issues often overlooked and prompting reflections on societal group differences.
